Infusionsoft Recruits Former Intuit Exec for New Products Division

By Louis Gombocz The former Vice President and General Manager of Quickbooks Online, Terry Hicks, has accepted a newly created position. Hicks has moved to Arizona-based email marketing and sales software company Infusionsoft. There he will serve as Infusionsoft s first Chief Products Officer. Hicks established the now $600 million business, Quickbooks Online, and focused on accelerating its growth to a worldwide level from the ground up. According to Infusionsoft, Hicks will drive the company s global product strategy which will include product management, payments and business development. He will also oversee the company s suite of services, program interfacings, and apps called “Marketplace” designed for small business use. Having served in various leadership roles at Intuit for more than 15 years, the Silicon Valley executive grew Quickbooks Online from 450,000 U.S. subscribers to 840,000 in 120 countries worldwide.
